I have attached the full Training Plan for February below. ⬇️ As usual, each group has been assigned a letter from A to E. Coaches who are available will pick a session from the options that are in that category. The categories are as follows and can be seen in greater detail on the colourful image below: A - Long Repeats B - Short Repeats C - Interval Training D - Hills/Steps E - Other (such as Medley, Fartlek and Tempo) As you can see on the plan, we have two Social Run nights planned for this month. Unfortunately the supplier has discontinued making them 😔 However, fear not! We have managed to source a slightly different top but same colours. Social Saturday Parkrun Gateshead.

https://www.parkrun.org.uk/gateshead/course/ This coming Saturday, 25th January sees the start of our monthly social Saturdays at Parkrun. The first parkrun takes place at Gateshead. Run the course as you wish; the main point is to hang around afterward for a drink, cake or breakfast & have a natter. There’s a cafe in the park called Saltwell Towers cafe which we aim to use. We have spot prizes too! We encourage you to wear Striders colours but this isn’t a requirement to join in. Have a think about car sharing; comment below if you are happy to drive or if you want to go but a lift will be needed. This will be your responsibility to arrange.
