With the snow & ice all but gone tomorrow’s social run looks good to go ...meeting 9am at Preston Park overflow car park ... trail shoes will be a good idea as it’s going be a claggy one!! Weather/conditions underfoot permitting, this Sunday (New Years Eve) I’m thinking of doing the run from Preston Park down to Yarm and along the Teesdale Way ... will be a very social/conversational paced one though - distance approx 6 miles!! Meeting at Preston Park overflow car park at 9am ... comment here please if you are coming along so we know who to look out for... trail shoes would be advisable ?? Thanks Helen

Slight change of plan for tomorrow gang ... due to the slippy sliddy paths at Ropner Park with more of the same forecast tonight the session will now be an off road session on the six fields at Hartburn. Please wear trail shoes/ old trainers & be prepared for wet & muddy feet!!! Meeting at West End Bowling club entrance (ts18 5be) next to gravel path @ 9am

As you all know, every year we do a Christmas pub crawl run, this is usually the week before Christmas. We have two dates possible for this year’s, Tuesday 19th December or Thursday 21st December. We have decided to go with what the majority of the members prefer.. so could you please comment if you would either prefer the Tuesday , or the Thursday. The date will be announced at the club next Tuesday. Thanks all ??

Well that was great fun, Summerhill proved to be a challenging but thoroughly enjoyable cross country, plenty of mud some slippery climbs and even more slippery descents and a nice full stream to cross at least twice. one of the greatest challenges was staying upright while changing shoes and socks after the race, you can tell who goes to Pilates!! Anyway the results are in and attached. Well done to everyone who took part and great to see a couple of new faces (hope you enjoyed it enough to join us again at Ormesby Hall on 21st January) and see some of you next week at the North East Championships 2017-18 Summerhill results
