EA affiliation processing

Club News
EA Affiliation processing We’ve been advised by EA that due to the high volume of traffic, that affliations are unable to be processed at this time on the EA portal (the website keeps crashing!) therefore they are looking to improve their website. I’m sure you’ll appreciate our frustrations around this but unfortunately we’re reliant on EA and their systems and can only proceed once we receive the notification to do so. Thanks to Sue King for all of her patience today whilst trying to resolve our portal issues before the above info was shared with us.

Foodbank Run tomorrow!

Club News
Foodbank Run tomorrow 💚💙 If those doing it can we meet in the car park between 9:30 & 9:40am please so we can load the surplus items that people aren’t carrying as they run, into the support cars. If you are carrying some items I would suggest using a small rucksack & not carrying the heavier items! We’ll depart from club around 9:50am and head to St Chads Church at Roseworth before going on to Norton Methodist Church on Norton Road. The route does allow for opportunities to do a shorter distance if preferred. I’ve added the link to my Strava for last years route hopefully people can see it ok ? https://strava.app.link/FxgHoR8rcIb Please remember this is an all inclusive run so please be considerate to the pace of all…

Thirsk 10 mile race report

Club News
Thirsk 10 Race Report At the start of the month we welcomed a brand new race to the area as well as the club league for 2024. Fast forward 2 weeks and we were at Thirsk, an old favourite. I think it is safe to say there were quite a few tired legs before the event. Many members not feeling 100% or in the midst of tough marathon blocks. However, despite this everyone ran really well and posted some fantastic times. We are not robots and can’t be 100% for every event we do, if it was that easy.. we’d all be setting personal bests every week. This years edition of Thirsk didn’t see the usual gale force winds, but it was overcast and actually quite warm. As we set…

Thirsk 10mile league race

Club News
*** THIRSK 10 Mile ADMIN*** Hi all, As the Thirsk registration doesn't seem to cater for unaffiliated members of clubs, I can't guarantee that I won't miss someone out when compiling the results. Once the points are posted here, they won't be amended unless the mistake is ours. To that end, could we ask everyone who wants to collect league points that has NOT been able to select the club at sign-up to comment below this post so I know who to search for. (Michael & Zaheer, we already know about you.) thank you Glenn c
