Club Merchandise Thanks to all those who collected their pre-ordered blue tops/hoodies. Those that didn’t don’t worry, it’s set aside for you. Cost is £14 for the t-shirts and £29 for the hoodies. Payment via BACS to the usual account please, ref - merchandise (or T-shirt or hoodie or a combo of all 3!). Given the level of interest a repeat order of T-shirts will be going in, no need to confirm sizes , we will get a few of each. In terms of those now wanting hoodies. Was thinking cycle path to Preston Park then back along Yarm Road, Hartburn Lane, Ropner Park then back to the club. Happy to go with an alternative route. Brew in the clubhouse afterwards. Striders bobble hats The good news, the bobble hats have arrived. The bad news they are not a colour match to the original artwork from previous orders  - thankfully not the clubs fault! The supplier is looking into how this has happened but what this ultimately means is there will be a further delay until the situation is resolved. Conscious spring is fast approaching those who originally placed an order will be given the option to cancel should they wish to do so. Really sorry about the delays but this is a situation beyond our control. Watch this space for updates. Andy J

League Race No 2 - Race Report Who on earth had the bare face cheek to call it Flatts Lane. Venue number 2 for those chasing the prestigious league winners title. Like some other Striders I was a debutant, the first timers briefing drew our attention to two things hills and the defibrillator ….enough said. Plenty of Striders undeterred by the altitude set off, swelling the attendance to near three figures. Thankfully all made it round safe and sound and living the dream twice up ‘that hill’ was the topic of conversation after crossing the finish line. In true Striders style great camaraderie, great support and very well earned cake to munch on afterwards. Well done to all those that took part and also to the Striders who volunteered and…
