Hi all, tomorrow night is the next instalment of the Track + Field meetings. Tomorrow nights meeting is back over at Darlington. Same rules apply if you can get there for as close to 6 as possible please, and take along your EA number with you as well. Attached is a copy of the timetable for tomorrow night with all the events. For all those Liverpool bound peeps .... never mind race tactics my thoughts have turned to fuelling appropriately on the Saturday evening! Not sure what everyone is doing but thought about maybe booking somewhere as it’s going be busy!!! Thinking one of the usual places ie pizza express, Zizzi etc around near Liverpool One as that’s a central point ....at about 6:30pm .... comment here if interested in joining me ???‍♀️??‍♂️???????? Last Tuesday saw round 2 of the track and field series at Middlesbrough. I was joined by Mathew Carling again, and, err, well that's it. Lloyd was meant to come but we're keeping him wrapped in cotton wool - ready to unleash on the opposition at the mile relays. I seem to have scared off the Striders ladies. Come on girls - what could be better than fighting through long tailbacks on the A174, to eventually arrive at a cold and windy arena - face endless delays as the juniors go through their heats - before starting your favourite event. As there’s lots of Striders doing the Tees Barrage 10k tomorrow if we can please meet at the front of the start line at 10:15am for a group photo ... so no going for a last minute wee or warming up until after this please .... race starts at 10:30am. Don’t forget your water too guys - it’s going be hot hot hot????????‍♀️?‍♀️?‍♀️??‍♂️??‍♂️??‍♂️

As is the case, fresh on the heels of the Neptune Relays thoughts turn to the NYMAC Relays held on the evening of Thursday 31 May. It’s a lap of Stewart’s Park for teams of 4 each running a 1 mile leg. Club pays for team entry but we need an idea of numbers .... short timescale on this - please comment ASAP as we need an idea of numbers by Friday at the latest so we can enter teams once entries open ... these places sell out faster than Glastonbury tickets ....
