Comic Relief Run

Club News
Thanks to Liz Simpson for all her hard work organising tonight’s Comic Relief event at the club. 25 people split into 4 teams completed the 4 mile run with challenges set along the way before ending with a quiz back at the club. In the finish not much separated the teams but congratulations to The Odd Man Out team (needless to say it was Ben Robinson who was the odd man out wearing his striders top instead of a red T-shirt) captained by Andy J who were victorious in the end ! Thanks also to all the volunteers, team captains and everyone who took part. All subs from tonight (£25) along with a club donation (also £25) will go directly to Comic Relief

Big well done to Michelle Ince (2nd) and Emma Matthews (3rd) on their respective performances. Michelle just missed out on regional age grading by 0.04%! I will post an ‘overall’ league standings table after our next event but I can tell you our current league leaders…
