For this not on FB Charity Horse Racing Night - 17.11.22 - Moline Cross For those attending, e-tickets for the night show the food as pie and chips. Conscious of providing an alternative we have arranged for pasta in a tomato based sauce with garlic bread to be added as an option. Could those wanting the pasta dish please comment below. Evening All, Firstly - thank you to everyone who came down tonight to take part in our Halloween naked run. A great turn out, we hope you enjoyed the course and that nice big hill at the end 😉. A massive thank you as well to all our volunteers out on the course as without the marshals, the run wouldn’t happen. 👻 🎃 😈 Halloween naked run 💀🎃 **long post, important info** Can our marshals meet at the old parkrun start (The Anchor at the Barrage) for 6-6:15pm latest to be assigned your marshal point / volunteer role. Please use the GymCatch link below to book on. This event is free of charge 😄 Can all runners meet at the anchor 6:15pm onward for a 6:30pm start. The distance is 3.26 miles; your predicted finish time will be submitted in advance and you will run with no watch (that’s the naked bit for any first timers). Naked Run – 1.11.22

Stockton Striders Naked Run - Afternoon! Due to its popularity last year, we are planning on another Halloween Barrage run which will be a naked run. This does not mean stripping off.. it means running without a watch! (Phew!) This will be taking place on Tuesday 1st November at 6.30pm instead of official club sessions. Whilst the distance will not be revealed yet, it will be between 3-4 miles. We will share more details about the route closer to the time. For those not familiar with a naked run, how it works is you submit your predicted finishing time and whoever is closest to their finishing time wins. Therefore, anyone can win! Striders canine mini league – October’s results!

An Autumnal Ropner Park was the venue for this months Striders canine mini league at Stockton Sunday Runners 5k with the 3 A’s - Alf, Alfred and Alan and 1 F - Flo all raring to go. After lots of excited squeals at the start we were off on the usual 3 lap 5k course … Well done to Alf on his first place with Glen, followed by Alfred with Kay in 2nd place who worked his little socks off and is now enjoying a well earned nap. Joint 3rd and crossing the line together was Alan with Suzanne & Flo with myself who opted for a bit of a team camaraderie kinda run only interrupted by the odd squirrel watch 🐿 !
