Whilst we are still endeavouring to set something up at Striders (we are still waiting on room availability etc) Mike Jeffries who was going to facilitate has sent this and asked if we can share ..... Runners Pilates: designed to improve core strength and endurance in the specific ranges of movements to running. Unlike boot camp etc. this class will not over stress the athlete but it will enhance running technique and form, helping maintain it to the end of a race. A similar class in Peterlee has been a big success amongst the local runners. Classes start on Monday 06 March from 8pm to 9pm at Northfield School and will be £4 per session.
