Early heads up! Next Sunday (05 November) we’ll be running the XC route at Preston Park (as attached link below). On the actual race day ladies do 2 laps & men 3 Laps. Option next Sunday is to do 1 lap then add more distance maybe along the Teesdale Way ... that’s running from Preston Park down to Bluebell at Yarm then following Teesdale Way back to Preston Park which is about 5 Miles? Alternatively we could start at Ropner Park Run to Preston Park do XC lap then add mileage back to Ropner .... happy to go with the flow?! Preston Park XC routes supplemtary info

Departing Stockton Town FC at 9:45am. After XC will stop in Whitby town centre for fish and chips before returning at approximately 3:30pm Price per person for bus TBC but approx £7 return ..... if you want to run (or spectate) there are still bus places available so please post here .....

As in the previous 2 years Stockton Striders AC are wishing to be represented at this event. To participate you must be an England Athletics Affiliated Athlete to Stockton Striders AC as your first claim club.

Thank you to Liz & Jerry, Suzanne, Kirsty, and Angela & Mark who along with myself met Sid Rudd from NYSD at lunch time today to walk the Preston Park XC course. We now know we’ll require a minimum of 15 Marshall’s at the NYSD event at Preston Park on 19 November. You’ll be required from 10am until 2pm (ish). Your support with our first hosting of this event is paramount ... if mud isn’t your thing to run in instead don your wellies and Marshall instead! Depending on numbers there may be an opportunity for some to Marshall the junior runs & still run their race later ???? Oh and I have it on good authority that the cafe can provide bacon butties (or alternative) to our Hungary Marshall’s!…
