Cleveland Way Relays 🏃‍♀️‍➡️🏃‍➡️⛰️ Just another reminder that we have the Cleveland Way Relays on Sunday 13th June. It is a lovely day out and I know that in previous years when we have had a team it’s been a huge success. A reminder: There are 16 legs of the relay, totalling 109 miles. It starts at Filey at 5am (anyone who wants to do this leg, please shout!) and finishes in Helmsley. If you haven’t done this before, you will need to run in a pair for safety reasons. Membership Renewals – Final Reminder

Evening, One final reminder to renew your membership if you haven’t already done so and intend too. The way the dates have fallen this year, sees sessions take place on 1st April, one day after this year’s deadline. If you have not renewed your membership but sign up for a session on Tuesday, we will not be insured for you to take part, and we will have to advise you, that you can not take part. There will be no paper copies of membership forms available, so the form needs completing online by COP tomorrow. Hi All, We have had a great number of renewals so far for 2025/26 which is brilliant to see. For those that have not yet done so, there is only a few days left to renew your membership. Cleveland Way Relays – 2025

Early shoutout: Cleveland Way Relays! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️ Daniele Meucci and I (Beth Dang) are very happy to be this year’s team managers ☺️ This year’s Cleveland Way Relay is on Sunday 15th June. For those that haven’t done this before, it’s a team relay along the length of the Cleveland Way. Starting at 5am in Filey and ending in Helmsley (hopefully) in time for celebratory chips. Hi all, The Neptune Relays @ Hardwick Park are back on Wednesday 30th April - 645pm start. Like previous years, we will try to enter as many teams as possible. We can enter male, female & mixed teams. All abilities are welcome & encouraged to take part in what is usually a fun evening of running for Striders. The event consists of teams of 4 running 1.7 miles along a winding & undulating route with a mix of terrain involved also. If the team you are put in is as speedy as our ladies from previous years, fresh fruit will be coming your way should you achieve a podium finish! Coaches who are available will pick a session from the options that are in that category. The categories are as follows and can be seen in greater detail on the colourful image below: A - Long Repeats B - Short Repeats C - Interval Training D - Hills/Steps E - Other (such as Medley, Fartlek and Tempo) As you can see on the plan, we have two Social Run nights planned for this month.
