Good morning here are tonight’s sessions:  (Sub 22 + 22-25) which will be lead by Sam are doing a session at the Tees Barrage. Remember the meeting point is the Tees Barrage parkrun starting point and please be there for 6.30pm. (Park in the Talpore carpark)  (25-27) which will be lead by Cat are doing cross country training - hills. (27-30 + 30-33) which will be lead by Angela are doing mile repeats. (25-27) which will be lead by Cat are doing a tempo run.  (27-30) which will be lead by Gav are doing a 10km run.  (30-33) which will be lead by Helen are doing a 4 mile run.  (33+) which will be lead by Suzanne are doing a long hill session. ANNOUNCEMENT :  Here is your club league for 2019, I hope they’re great team events like all our previous club runs and you enjoy them. Dates will be confirmed closer to entry times , in the unlikely event of clashes/cancellations then the league will be adjusted accordingly.  (And if you don’t like it .. just think, it’s the last one I’m doing ?)   CLUB LEAGUE 2019:  NYD Parkrun. just a heads up: This Thursday Groups 1 and 2’s session will be taking place at the Tees Barrage , it will be a new session incorporating different types of intervals. Sam will be leading it , if you could get to the Barrage for no later than 6.30pm please, meeting point will be the parkrun start . No money required ! The regular car park will be closed , so you can park either on the navigation way or just use the talpore’s car park ? Thanks all

(25-27) which will be lead by Cat are doing a cross country training sessions, Indian file relays included. (27-30 + 30-33) which will be lead by Gav are doing 5 x 5 hill repeats. (22-25) which will be lead by David are doing long hill repeats.  (25-27) which will be lead by Cat are doing hill sprints. (27-30) which will be lead by Neil 1 mile easy 2 mile tempo and then another 1 mile easy. (30-33) which will be lead by Lynda are doing a tempo run. Good morning here are tonight’s sessions: (Sub 22) which will be lead by Lucy are doing 6 x 5 minute hill repeats.  (22-25) which will be lead by Liz are doing 4,3,2,1 minutes x 3. (25-27) which will be lead by Cat are doing 4 miles out and back. 2 mile steady 2 mile fast.  (27-30) which will be lead by Gav are doing an interval based session.  (30-33) which will be lead by Suzanne are doing 5,3,1 minute intervals. (33+) which will be lead by Dave are doing loop course training with speed , hills and relays included. Thanks all ?

Good morning here are tonight’s sessions:  (Sub 22) which will be lead by Paul are doing a pyramid session.  (22-25) which will be lead by Caroline are doing a hill session. (25-27) which will be lead by Cat are doing 4 x 1 mile repeats at 10km goal pace with recoveries, 1 mile easy.  (27-30) which will be lead by Lucy are doing 10 x 30s repeats hard. (30-33) which will be lead by Suzanne are doing a hill session in the park. (33+) which will be lead by Zoe are doing long hills near birkdale road.  Thanks all - remember it’s the Sedgefield Handicap 10km on Thursday evening. I will post details tomorrow about this ?

NYSD Track + Field Report

NYSD Track + Field Report:   As it was the final athletics meeting of the season I tried to recruit my dear old friend Dave Fender for the event. It turned out to be a big mistake.   Dave currently resides in the 'Home for Bewildered ParkRunners With Unusual Injuries' on Yarm Lane - receiving the expert care he so desperately needs. When I visited and mentioned the athletics he started shaking his fist at me and ranting, "You youngsters with your Suzi Quatro LP's and your blockchain connected devices." Fortunately matron was on hand to calm him down by playing his favourite 'Glenn Miller and his Orchestra' medley.   So Dave wasn't at the Middlesbrough track on Tuesday - but club legend Sam Johnston was.
