Neptune Relays Wednesday 27th April Update - we now have enough for 2 teams and Tom Murphy will be team manager Team 1 Tom Murphy Paul J Jonathon Archer Michael Burke Team 2 Faye Buckton Lucy Owens Nigel Radcliffe Mark Dickinson Whilst mixed teams are permitted they are not eligible for prizes. Each person can only run 1 leg of the relay. We also require a team manager for the night please - the entry fees will be given to the team manager or one of those running at the club on tuesday night. If no-one steps forward to volunteer for the role unfortunately we will not be able to participate as a club. UPDATE NYSD Track and Field meeting this Tuesday at Middlesbrough Sports Village. All information can be found at: http://nysd.org.uk/track-and-field. Athletes are responsible for registering themselves and fees will be reimbursed - please only book if you intend to participate. If you forward confirmation of booking e-mail to stocktonstriders@gmail.com then arrangements will be made to transfer payment. You must have current EA affiliation for 2022/23 and wear club colours to participate. We also still need someone else to assist with team manager duties and promotion of the events please.

Hi all Striders sessions Tuesday 19.4.22 Just to let you all know. Ste Boddy despite showing no symptoms yesterday has today tested positive for Covid. He was in the 30-33 group last night and was in the clubhouse before sessions too. He wanted me to let Striders know so those who came into contact with him can take appropriate action as they see fit. Thanks Andy J

Sedgefield Harriers - Neptune Relays 2022 -Wednesday 27th April 2022 Hardwick Country Park (each leg is 1.7 miles) 6:30pm So far we only have Paul J, Faye Buckton, Tom Murphy, Mark Dickinson and Mark Dickinson who have expressed an interest. Its teams of 4 so thats 1 team & a reserve. If you are interested and not yet added your name please do so by Friday 22nd April. Also looking for a team manager for this one please. Will need to register everyone on the night and collect team numbers and distribute. Thanks Helen J

For those who have expressed an interest in competing in the track and field season I have contacted league organisers (now we know how many people are interested in competing). We are unable to provide the number of volunteers to help out at the meetings (see previous related posts) and therefore it is up to the league to confirm if we can participate this season. I will post an update once we hear back from them. If we do get the go ahead each athlete will be responsible for registering themselves at the event (this must be done in advance and online only) and entry fees will be reimbursed by the club.
