Well done to Striders who participated in this years event.  The meeting was moved from February until this weekend and generally numbers were down on previous years - including Striders teams, who fielded one mens team and an incomplete ladies team. Wanted! A Lady of a certain age 😊😊 we’re looking for another lady to join us in the Vet 35+ team (of course we team members only just meet the age criteria 😂😂😂) at the Royal Signal Relays on Saturday at Hetton Lyons Country park for a 2.2 mile lap run. If any ladies of a slightly younger age category wants to join in I’m sure we can change our team category still. Official club vest & EA affiliation a must. Ladies race is at 12pm but ever sociable that we are we’re heading to Herrington Country Park parkrun than having a leisurely breakfast before heading to Hetton Lyons park. message from Mark Williams ... As there is no official sessions on at Striders this Thursday I am wondering if anyone fancies meeting up for a 4-5mile social run? We can either meet at the club and go from there or maybe the Talpore and do a bit along the river. It will be an all inclusive session so easy pace. Comment if you fancy it!! A few of us are planning a long run on Saturday ... meeting at start of tees barrage parkrun course at 7:40am, doing tees barrage route then heading down barrage towards Newport Bridge & Albert parkrun then after the parkrun will run back to the Barrage. its about 14 miles in total at approx 10:30 min mile pace ...
