The Annual General Meeting (Agenda attached) shall be held in the month of November for the purpose of: Receiving the Annual Report of the Committee. Receiving the audited statement of accounts and balance sheets. Electing the officers & Committee for the ensuing year. Setting the Annual subscriptions for the ensuing year. A quorum shall be 12½% of eligible voting members, including officers – as per current membership we require a minimum of 27 members at the meeting please. Voting will be on simple majority basis, except where otherwise stated. Each voting member present at the meeting shall have one vote. Three of the committee members have taken the difficult decision to step aside and let others have the opportunity to help shape and develop our club for the future. As…

Hi All We’ve been asked to share below ... some of you may know Paul Burgum from the local running scene particularly the Hardmoors series. thanks Helen Dear Fellow Runners I need your help! Could you please help support me with my Psychology dissertation project with DurhamUniversity. The study is an online survey-based study that aims to look at the personality types of long-distance runners of all distances, and the mental strategies used by runners and how they feel in general about their running. York bus peeps ….

York bus peeps - as mentioned on Sunday & at club tonight there was a bit of money left over from Sunday once we had paid bus invoice & given the driver his tip. However rather than faff on giving everyone 70p or whatever back we will donate the money to charity. We had two Striders both running their first marathon for charity so will donate £20 to Bethany Fleming for Mind & £20 to Debbie Edwards for Tree of Hope charity 😊😊😊

Obviously York is the destination for many of us after months of training for either the 10 mile or Marathon.
