Good morning all here are tonight’s sessions: (Sub 22) which will be lead by Tom are doing a medleys session. (22-25) which will be lead by Lucy are doing a Pyramid Session. (25-27) which will be lead by Cat are doing 2 miles with strides + 5 x 3 minute at 5km pace. (27-30) which will be lead by Angela are doing a tempo run. (30-33) which will be lead by Helen are doing a drills and hills session. (33+) which will be lead by Claire are doing are doing a social run. Thanks 🏃

Morning Striders here are tonight's sessions: Sub 22, led by Tom are doing hills.     22-25, led by Liz are doing 5 mins medley at Ropner. 25-27, led by Helen are doing a 45 minuets progression run. 27-30, led by Angela are doing a progression run approx 4.5 miles.     30-33, led by Suzanne are doing a social of 4 miles. 33+, Please can you join another group. Morning Striders here are tonight's sessions:  Sub 22, led by Tom are doing mile repeats. 22-25, led by Lucy are doing Preston Park out and back 10k. 25-27, led by Angela are doing Intervals: 3x1 mile 27-30, led by Helen are doing hill reps. 30-33, led by Liz are doing 4x 800m intervals with 400m recovery.     33+, led by Anna are doing speed hills. It’s looking like another warm evening so please remember to bring water. The door will be covered by Judith G and Gail R. Happy running 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

Morning Striders here are tonight's sessions:  Sub 22, led by Paul are doing Fartlek. 22-25, led by Liz are doing Mile repeats x 4. 25-27, led by Cat are doing Tempo: 1 mile warm up, 3 mile tempo, 1 mile cool down  27-30, led by Angela are doing Intervals 5 x 400m 2 min recovery  x 2. 30-33, led by Gavin are doing a progression run.     33+, led by Tom are doing 4 miles at 5k pace. It’s going to be a warm one so remember to bring some water.

Tuesday 23 July – Summer pub run

Morning Striders,  No formal sessions tonight as it’s our Summer pub run... same idea as the Christmas pub run only without the Christmas fancy dress. If anyone wants to wear summer fancy dress, Hawaiian shirts etc, feel free. Meet at the Talpore at 6:30. We’ll be running to the Hope and Union, Dubliners and back to the Talpore. No £1’s due but don’t forget some pennies for drinks 🌞🍻 It’s about 3.5 miles in total all ran at a nice social pace with nobody left to run alone. 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️

Summer pub run – Tuesday 23 July

Tuesday is our Summer pub run... same idea as the Christmas pub run without the Christmas fancy dress.... unless 🤔.... Meet at the Talpore at 6:30. We’ll be running to the Hope and Union, Dubliners and back to the Talpore. Hopefully we’ll get nice sunny weather. No £1’s due but don’t forget some pennies for drinks 🌞🍻 If anyone wants to wear summer fancy dress... Hawaiian shirts etc feel free. I think it’s about 4 miles in total.... Unfortunately I’ve not managed a recce to get the exact length as, for some reason, I’ve hardly been able to walk this week. All ran at a nice social pace with nobody running alone. 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️👍

Morning Striders, here are tonight's sessions:  Sub 22, led by Paul J are doing 800 metre repeats.     22-25, led by Sam are doing Hills.     25-27, led by Cat are doing Hills: 2 x 10mins, RI on flat. 27-30, led by Gavin and Zoe are doing hunt the hills at Preston park. If you can’t go your welcome to join another session at the club.    30-33, led by Angela are doing Indian file. 33+, led by Tom are doing 8, 6, 4, 2 minutes half recovery. Morning Striders, here are tonight's sessions: Sub 22, led by Tom are doing fartlek.     22-25, led by David H are doing Indian File.     25-27, led by Cat are doing Intervals: 2x(5x400m, 2min RI), 5min RI.     27-30, led by Claire B are doing Indian file with a bit of stair work (Rocky theme included!).     30-33, led by Suzanne are doing 400m 600m 800m intervals.     33+, led by Caroline are doing 4x 800m at faster than 5k pace. The door will be covered by Viv M and Anne D. It’s the final track and field event of the season at Middlesbrough track. Events start at 6:30. See yesterday’s post for details of the events.
