20 Striders won golden tickets for entry to The Grange parkrun on Saturday. Simon Russell ensured everyone was on their best behaviour as he recorded a 3rd place finish. Abby Barker was first lady to finish - getting a 70%+ age-grading. Michael Meggs was first home overall. Elsewhere, there were 2 more first place finishes at Hartlepool. Kay Martin was first lady home in a new pb. Tom Marrs led the field home in under 18 minutes with a 70%+ a-g. Tom, if you're looking for fast times then I'd stick to Albert Park from now on. 15 Striders decided on Hartlepool for a parkrun venue on Saturday. Emma Fleming and Lee Buckle whizzed round in all-course pb's. Michelle Ince and Ben Robinson got 70%+ age-gradings - with Ben also recording a new pb. Elsewhere, Kris Allen celebrated his 50th parkrun at The Grange. Jill Abel was 3rd lady finisher and Simon Russell got a pb with 70%+ a-g. Flatts Lane saw a Striders 1,2,3 in the shape of Tom Marrs, Jamie Bentley and Michael Burke. Izzy Morgan was first lady home at Sedgefield. Helen Mcilvenny and Michael Meggs got 70%+ a-g's at Albert - Helen also getting a new pb. *Reminder for Cross Country event. Fixture no.3*. Sunday 21st November at Croft Circuit. Please see below for details and directions. Usual post event refreshments will be provided including cake and biscuits; please bring your own mug/cup. We do have spares if you forget. We also have spare pins for your numbers. Stockton Strider colours to be worn. We do like an idea of who is coming just for numbers and again we have a great turn out expected. No need to decide right now, but if you did register for the cross country series you will have an allocated number, so it is okay for you to turn up on the day.
