As the club continues to return to some sort of normality post covid, plans are underway for this years AGM. This has been arranged for Thursday 18th November 2021 in the studio at Stockton Town FC at 7:45pm. An agenda will follow in the next couple of weeks but if anyone wishes to submit an agenda item please e-mail stocktonstriders@gmail.com by Tuesday 26th October please. As we approach our 7th anniversary we now  have a number of vacancies post covid on the committee and feel therefore the time is right to reflect on its roles and responsibilities.  Therefore it is proposed to reduce the size of the current committee membership from 15 to 10, but with with a wider portfolio for those 10.  Whilst statutory roles continue - Club Chair,…

York bus peeps as we now have 43 people on the bus tomorrow the return fare per person is £10 please - cash payment please as we need to give the balance of the invoice to the driver (I’ve paid £50 deposit from my own money!). The £10 will include the tip for the driver 👍🏻👍🏻 thanks Helen

Don’t forget gang York bus leaves the club at 7am promptly so please be there by 6:50am. There are 43 of us on a 49 seater bus so not many spare seats for social distancing. On behalf of the Club the committee arranged for some flowers to be sent to Debbie Edwards as she continues her treatment for breast cancer. Hope you wont mind me posting this but this Sunday I am running (well run/walking) Kielder Marathon and raising funds for The Trinity Holistic Centre a charity very close to Striders very own Paula Radcliffe lookalike Debbie Edwards as she continues her treatment for breast cancer. As ever she is doing this with the strength and courage just like she does with her running, not letting any barriers get in her way! YORK BUS FOR MARATHON & 10 miler - Sunday 17/10/21. Last chance to put your name down for the bus to York. I've provisionally booked it with Delta Coaches - leaving Stockton Town FC at 7am and departing York at 4:30pm. It's £300 for the 33 seater and £385 for the 49 seater - I already have 30 names on the list so if anyone else is interested let me know asap! I would think I'll probably end up booking the bigger bus though. Cost will be between £8-£12.50 depending on final numbers.
