Richmond XC

Club News
Well, last XC of the season was at Richmond this morning. We left a sunny warm Stockton and arrived at a rather cold and windy Richmond racecourse. A rather depleted team today as several of our regular XC runners are injured, ill or deep in marathon training. ( hope all struggling with the current virus are recovered soon). Jill, Amy and myself raced for the ladies while Paul, Tom, Michael, Finn and Anthony made a good showing for the men, a great effort by all despite having to run hard on a downhill section at the top of the course which was straight into the wind!! An uphill finish completed the course so definitely not a course for the faint hearted (but it was fun honestly). Please find attached the…

Preston Park XC Results

Club News
Please find attached the results from yesterdays cross country at Preston Park. Another fabulous event this time even more special as we hosted the event. All I can say is a huge well done and thank you to everyone who helped or ran (or both). It was a fabulous day weather wise and also in atmosphere. For those who tried XC for the first time I hope you enjoyed it enough to come to other events as it really is fun. I must point out though that you only get such great encouragement from all the marshals at Preston Park! For anyone who offered the use of their number (as we thought we may run short) the good news is that we just managed so if you are fit enough…

Whitby XC

Club News
Whitby cross country proved a beautiful day for a change, no snow, instead beautiful sunshine and a relatively dry course allowing for several PBs. With five ladies and seven men we had full teams. Great running from everyone and then into Whitby for some well deserved fish and chips to complete the afternoon. Well done to everyone who ran and the results are attached below. Don't forget the next XC is on 18th Nov at Preston Park. Anyone fancying a go but still not sure why not come along and marshal and see for yourself how much fun it is. 2018-19Results Whitby
