It was a balmy November morning at Locke Park, Redcar for our penultimate canine parkrun mini league. Numbers were down on previous runs but that didn’t stop the fun Alfred & Kay Martin, Alfie & Glen & Flo and myself had! The morning started with a very poignant last post bugle and a 2 minutes silence to remember Armistice Day all observed impeccably by the dogs and humans alike despite the distraction of squirrels close by. After taking an early lead, Alfred’s ‘comfort break’ presented an opportunity for Flo & Alfie to take full advantage and overtake him although it wasn’t long before all three were neck a neck again. Don’t forget it’s the penultimate instalment of the canine mini parkrun league at Redcar on Saturday … all welcome with or without a four legged friend! The cafe at Locke Oark is dog friendly so we’ll be able to sit inside for a cuppa afterwards 😊👍🏻☕️🍰🐾

Apparently London marathon ballot results are out today! As yet we are still awaiting details about any club place for 2023 so just hang on to those no emails for now! If we do secure a club place usual rules apply - you must have been England Athletics affiliated to the club as your first claim club as of 30/09/22 and evidence that the no thanks confirmation is yours!
