Afternoon All, For those not on Facebook Entry for the NYMAC relays opens tomorrow night at 5pm. Below is a list of people that have previously said they would like to take part, if you can no longer take part - can you please let us know ASAP, thank you! It’s four runners per team, and it’s 1 mile around Stewart’s Park on Thursday 25th May, starting at 6.30pm. Completely free to take part - but club colours must be worn. We can run with all men / all women and mixed teams too and it is open to all abilities. Last day for renewing your you know what……see previous posts for the membership form. Also we’re pleased to confirm the school running track is back. Sessions on a group rotational basis will start this Tuesday (2nd) and run through to early September. Andy J

Just nicely back from todays XC season finale at South Park Darlington. No, I wasn’t running. I was restricted to baggage security duties with Ben  (we know our place), which other than spilling a cup of coffee near the said baggage (me not Ben) ran like clockwork. Great running by all and as always the camaraderie and support was genuine and absolutely brilliant to see. After the races it was presentation time. I’ll let the XC management list the numerous Striders medalists in their age categories. Fantastic individual achievements and the icing on the cake was Striders ladies winning the team event. Hi all Membership - annual renewals are due from 1.4.23 - 31.3.24. The cost remains at £20. A blank renewal form is attached. Electronic submission of completed forms should be sent to our dedicated membership gmail address stocktonstridersmembers@gmail.com BACS payments are the preferred option. Please show your name as the reference. Bespoke arrangements can be made for those who wish to pay cash. Deadline for current annual membership renewals is 30.4.23. League race no.3 Thirsk 10 miler. After the snow midweek who knew what weather today would bring.. surprisingly it felt like March Spring weather! Who would’ve thought that?? Weird. It was perfect running conditions which was a relief to me and Sam who worried we would have a repeat of race hiccups like last year, fortunately this wasn’t the case. Anyhow, we had a brilliant Strider turnout, half are missed off the photo, (apologies) they were probably hunting around for pins for race numbers. Could’ve made a fortune selling pins today.. On arrival, I found out I had not entered 🙈 Me, a league run organiser, had not entered! “I beg to differ” I said as the lady frantically searched the box; I was given the option to pay on…
