Hi all Charity Pizza/Quiz Night Friday 9th September Venue  - Clubhouse Start time  - from 7pm Pizzas - 730 pm Quiz starts - 815 pm Rather than print and distribute paper copy tickets we will again be adopting a ticketless approach. Last year tickets for this annual event were £5. However this year we are looking to support both Debbie Edwards and Ben Robinsons Just Giving charity pages. It has been agreed that profits from ticket sales will go to Bens chosen charity, Pancreatic Cancer UK and raffle ticket sales will go to Debbie’s chosen charity, the Trinity Holistic Centre, South Tees Hospitals Charity. Fir those not on FB Sunday Social - Sam Johnston Hi All , for anyone interested I am doing a 10 mile run from the club on Sunday morning. The average pace will be between 8.50 - 9 minute miles. There are a couple of cut off points on the route if anyone wants to run a bit shorter. I am setting off at the earlier time of 8.30am as the forecast says it’s going to get quite hot later on the morning. If you would like to join me please just comment below so I know to wait for you 👍 Thanks!

Hi all Slight change of plan. Due to a limited number of bookings tonight’s club session will now be all inclusive on the track. We appreciate some may wish to cancel but please note the session will suit all abilities. We most certainly will also be factoring in the very warm weather conditions too. Those joining us please please please bring plenty of fluids to be kept trackside. If those attending could meet by the track rather than in the clubhouse please. Thanks Andy J

For those not on FB I have some desperately sad news to report. Last week Ben Robinson was diagnosed with incurable cancer (pancreas and liver). He is due to have a biopsy tomorrow (5th) followed by treatment starting in September to hopefully control the spread of this cruel disease. The treatment involves doses of chemotherapy once a week for six weeks followed by a four week rest period. The ten week cycle of chemotherapy and rest then starts again. It is testament to Ben that despite this devastating news he remains incredibly positive and he wants all those around him to remain so too. He still hopes to get involved in some capacity in the Parkrunathon this weekend and to also get to the club as often as he can…

For those not on FB Hi all Just to recap - when booking sessions via GymCatch please ignore the pay on the door comment. Session subs will continue to be paid monthly in arrears via bank transfer prompted by an email showing amounts owed. If you recall we decided to amalgamate June and July subs into one payment with it being holiday season. Emails showing June/July subs due will be circulated by 10th August. Thanks Andy J

Hi all For those not on Facebook Just an update on the club session booking procedures. Sadly MagnaPass have ceased trading from today (31st July). They did give plenty of notification so we have now sourced a new provider GymCatch. The good news is disruption to members should be kept to a minimum. As with MagnaPass members will need to register in the first instance. Once done booking onto sessions will be exactly the same, ie book on and receive email confirmation from GymCatch. Payment methods also remain the same with individual emails confirming amounts owed (normally monthly). Gymcatch will go live for sessions this Tuesday (2nd) so watch this space for the link to book on tomorrow evening. We hope there will be no ‘gremlins’ with the GymCatch service,…
