Ok folks we've booked the date of our next social evening for Friday 8th September .... now just need ideas for the theme of the evening please - nothing that's too costly though! Please comment here ....

For those at tomorrow's triple r workshop the £30 payment needs to be by cash or cheque (remember them ??) Equipment will be provided but if you want some for home stock will be available to buy - items from £6!

Right gang the York bus has been booked - will depart club at 7:00am and return from York at 4:00pm .... we have booked a 55 seater and have 40 places taken so it currently works out at £9.50 per person - if you know of anyone else wanting a space (maybe spectators/support crew??) can you let me know asap please. I've paid a £50 deposit now to secure the booking but we need to pay the driver on the day so don't forget your pennies come race morning! if you can all bring an extra £1 towards a tip for the driver that would be much appreciated ?? The NYMAC Thomas Wall relays will take place on Thursday 31 August 2017 @ Stewart's Park. Anyone interested in getting a bus from Striders to Great North run? Plan is to be dropped off in Newcastle in the morning then be picked up at teatime from South Shields - leaving plenty of time for a bite to eat & drink rather than sitting in traffic jammed car parks.
