Important announcement re York Bus! Sorry if there's some confusion over the bus departure time next Sunday but to confirm ... It will depart from Stockton Striders AC (Stockton Town FC, Bishopton Road West) at 7am and depart York at approx 4pm. £9.50 return fare but if you can bring £1 for drivers tip too please.

London marathon ballot & club draw

So apparently the official London Ballot results will be out this week. Remember as an affiliated running club Stockton Striders AC also qualifies for one place. In order to qualify to enter our club draw held at AGM you must: Be an affiliated athlete with Stockton Striders AC as your first claim club as of 01 May 2017 Have entered the ballot as a Stockton Strider AC athlete. Come October you will need to hang on to your email/ letter which includes a serial number as proof of your own unsuccessful ballot entry and send/share this with me to verify your entry to club draw. The draw will take place at the AGM on Tuesday 21 November ????

GNR Bus – important information

Club News
GNR bus peeps Bus will leave Stockton Striders at 7:30am prompt and returning will leave from South Shields at approx 5pm. You'll need to take spare clothing for after the run and old clothes will be a must for hanging around before the race! The plan is to meet up afterwards in the Charity Village (its as good a place as anywhere) maybe at the Parkinsons UK tent area - I'll let you know where this is when I get it! Then they'll be a chance for food and liquid refreshment before returning home!
