LONDON MARATHON 2019 Remember if you want to be included in the club ballot you must provide proof of ‘it’s a no’ email or the magazine packet with your unique reference number. To be eligible for club ballot You must have been affiliated to Stockton Striders AC as first claim club as of 01 May 2018. If successful in the club ballot you must still be affiliated at date of marathon to Stockton Striders AC as your first claim club. Important notice.... unfortunately we’ve not had enough interest to enter Relay teams into Sunday’s XC Relay event at Thirsk - can you please share with everyone (I’m adding info to Facebook) ..... hopefully we’ll have more people wanting to run at Acklam on 14 October ??

After a fantastic morning for Stockton Striders at the Great Tees 10k, 3rd place & a podium finish for Jason Cutler, and a least a couple of PB’s that I know of, as well as the awesome support offered to everyone running, tomorrow sees one of the busiest race days of the year. So good luck to everyone running the Vale of York half marathon ...oh & that other one just up the A19 at Newcastle ?? #gnr #valeofyork

Final information notice for GNR bus peeps. Bus leaves Stockton Town FC at 7:30am prompt so please be there ready to board @ 7:20am! Its £5 still to pay if you've paid the deposit or £10 if you've not paid said deposit. The bus will drop us near Newcastle Central Station area then will return to Teesside so you are not able to leave bags on there instead you must use the GNR baggage buses. Tip tips 1: - Take old clothing for the start of the race and plenty of layers for afterwards as we're there a very long time! GNR bus - final details! Bus will leave Stockton Town FC at 7:30am prompt so please be there by 7:20am! Any outstanding monies will need to be paid on the morning before being allowed on the bus ;-) It will drop us off in Newcastle city centre - a short walk from the start (think of it as your warm up!!) We'll arrange a return meeting point on the day and the bus will pick us up again at 5pm.
