Foodbank Run 2024

Club News
Foodbank Run 2024 - 24/03/24 Following on from the success of last years Foodbank run we can now confirm this years run will take place on Sunday 24th March The Foodbank run is a national initiative & idea is that clubs ask members to donate items and then organise a run to deliver them (with a back up car to carry surplus). We would expect to meet at the club at around 9:45am to run to the first drop off point in Roseworth and then on to Norton for the 2nd one. Mileage can be between…

As most of you will know I’ve not been able to run for several months now & due to a bit of a setback it will still be a good few months again before I can dip a tentative toe back in this running malarkey. I’ll be honest and say I’ve been feeling as sick as a chip these last few days about it all but determined to be more positive I signed up to volunteer at Albert parkrun (official volunteer credit no 89 😊& not many to go to my 100 volunteer tshirt) so that I could cheer you all on.
