NYSD Track and Field dates 2022 Dates for 2022 season are: 1. Tuesday 26th April 2. Tuesday 24th May 3. Tuesday 14th June 4. Tuesday 5th July 5. Tuesday 26th July 6. Tuesday 16th August All meets will be at Middlesbrough Sports Village. However please note that it was agreed at the NYSD Track and Field planning meeting that all clubs must provide 2 helpers at each meeting or athletes may not be able to compete. I did state that given the numbers of athletes we have competing at the events along with the meetings clashing with our training nights…
Neptune Relays – Hardwick Country Park
Sedgefield Harriers - Neptune Relays 2022 -Wednesday 27th April 2022 Hardwick Country Park (each leg is 1.7 miles) Just seen that the relays are making a long awaited return this year! We've taken part in this event for a lot of years (pre covid) and its always a really good team effort. England Athletics Affiliation 2022/23 Our EA Club Portal is now live for registrations for EA affiliation. Cost for 01/04/22 - 31/03/23 is £16 and all monies go directly to EA. A blank renewal form is attached. Message from NYSD XC relay organisers
Organisers of NYSD XC relays have just e-mailed to inform us a couple of volunteers from Sunday have since tested positive for Covid and wanted to make those at the event aware.

Charity Donations
Further to Jennie Johnston’s award for member of the year 2020/21 as voted by the committee Jennie has split the £100 charity donation which goes to the award winner between Parkinsons UK (a charity close to the Johnston’s hearts) and The Trinity Holistic Centre at James Cook Hospital - where our lovely Debbie Edwards has been attending during her cancer treatment. Last Thursday 25 people took part in the Comic Relief run so the £25 subs have been matched by the club making a £50 donation to Comic Relief 😊
