Poultry Run & What a Wheeze tomorrow both postponed due to icy conditions!

Race organisers have confirmed that What a wheeze has been rearranged for Christmas Eve. The new date for the Poultry Run is to be confirmed. Sam J has clarified the situation re league races as below: Club League Update: As Loftus Poultry Run is cancelled tomorrow due to the snow/ice  we will be accepting everyone’s best 7 results as opposed to 8, as I know a few people had this one down as their final race. The club league for 2023 is being finalised and will be posted in early January. Thank you

The Inaugural Stockton Striders AC parkrun Canine League - Final standings Well what can I say, this had it all! parkrun HQ rule changes trying to put a spanner in the works, injuries, illnesses, refusals to run up hills (it was more a mountain wasn't it Alfred!) and accusations of sabotage by fellow competitors! Overall, it's proved to be a popular social league with plenty of humans without pooches also coming along to the runs. After the 8 events I think we'll call it a tie between: Alfred (Nick and Kay) Freddie (Steve) Alfie (Glenn) who all finished 1st at 2 races each Flo (me) and Alan (Martin and Suzanne) also finished 1st at one race each. Canine Mini League – Albert Park 02/12/22

Yesterday saw the final instalment of our canine mini league (the full report of the season will follow!) at Albert Park.  With Steve & Freddie, Glenn & Alfie, Andy and Ivy, Sue & Jet, Kay with Alfred & me with Flo there was plenty of competition Well done to Glenn & Alfie, Steve & Freddie and Andy & Ivy (smashing her PB) on their 1st, 2nd & 3rd placings. Sue and Jet finished strongly whilst Alfred and Flo went for the social option again, choosing to run together. As ever the post run treats proved popular afterwards Well done all and thanks to the support crew of Jo & Nick
