I have attached the full Training Plan for May below.
As usual, each group has been assigned a letter from A to E, or assigned the letter T for track. Coaches who are available will pick a session from the options that are in that category.
The categories are as follows and can be seen in greater detail on the colourful image below:
A – Long Repeats
B – Short Repeats
C – Interval Training
D – Hills/Steps
E – Other (such as Medley, Fartlek and Tempo)
T – Track Session
As you can see on the plan, we have a Social Run and tea/biscuit night on Tuesday 20th May. ☕️🍪
Thursday will alternate between an all inclusive session and a ‘normal’ club night with five groups. The first all inclusive session will take place on the track this Thursday, the other all inclusive session will be at Ropner Park on the 15th.
Please note there are no club sessions on Thursday 29th May as this is the same night as the NYMAC Relays.
*Please note some groups may have to merge together should we be be struggling for coaches. Track sessions are also subject to the weather. Unfortunately we cannot train on the track if it is too wet.*
