Following on from the post with the NYSD cross country dates and cross country championship event dates, I have discussed with the committee the prospect of paying the affiliation fee that we need too, to enter the cross country championship events.
I have been in touch with northern athletics, and I have agreed that for the 2024-25 cross country season, Stockton Striders AC will be an affiliated club with them. This means members who are affiliated can enter any events scheduled by them, not just their cross country events.
Please note that the cost is expensive, so whilst we have agree to sign up for the 2024-25 season, this will be subject to review in future years if participation levels are low etc.
