Run reports
16 Striders had to weave around a moving tractor during Saturday's parkrun at Wynyard. Alistair Plenderleith wasn't fazed by this as he bagged an all-course PB. Run reports
17 Striders took a trip to Hamsterley Forest on Saturday. It may be one of the most scenic parkruns around - but it's not for the faint of heart. The loose stones, tree roots and brutal climb to halfway are one thing. However, there is an even more sinister element to the venue. Gruffalo roam the forest - and they often attack, then eat, dogs and small children during the event. I just hope and pray that everyone made it to the finish. Kris Allen, Glenn Cooper, Nicole Edwards and Pam Steadman bagged new PB's. Abby Barker was 2nd lady home. Suzanne Brodie, Helen Johnston and Gail Robinson volunteered. Elsewhere, Mick Fawcett did his 450th parkrun at Wynyard. Rach Hall also made it to 450 at Stewart. Mike Ford got…

Alistair Plenderleith and Carl Hayes posted new PB's at Hartlepool. Also running was Phil Swash - who was disappointed to miss the Boro Half Marathon through injury. However, I'm reliably informed that he completed the Hartlepool parkrun with no ill effects - so that's a welcome boost for Phil. Kris Allen got a 70%+ a-g at Upton Court (Slough). Holly Taylor-Mcgrath was 1st lady…
