Elsewhere, Steve Dickson got a new PB at Albert - where Tim Clark and Sharon Lawson-Green achieved 70%+ age-gradings. Sarah Griffiths reached the 50 parkrun milestone at Rising Sun. Izzy Morgan got a new PB at Harrogate, as did Kevin Walls at Durham, Matty Clarkson at Herrington Country, Andrew Beevers at Marshall Drive, and Mike Cleasby and Ian Gray at Hamsterley Forest. Gareth Maloney recorded a 70%+ a-g at Easington, as did Jonathon Archer at Swansea Bay and Emma Fleming (1st lady home) at Armley. Sandra Stabler and Jill Abel had a run at Zuiderpark (Den Haag). Wynyard Woodland saw Luke Isadore (3rd home) and Emily Green get new PB's. Elsewhere, 19 Striders attended Albert where Andrew Beevers bagged a new PB and Glenn Cooper achieved a 70% age-grading. Mike Cleasby got a new PB at Easington, as did David Murphy at Cotsford Fields. Michelle Ince got a 70%+ a-g at Hartlepool. Beth Dang was 3rd lady home at Whitehaven. Emily Palmer (70%+) was 2nd lady home at Woodlands (Scarborough). Abby Barker (70%+) was 1st lady home at Penrith. Striders too at Silksworth, Town Moor, Prudhoe Riverside, Halifax, Sedgefield, Riverside, Stewart, Druridge Bay, Northallerton, Blyth Links, Millfield and Park in the Past (Wrexham). It was a pleasant morning for the parkrunners at Wynyard on Saturday. Doreen Morris continued her excellent year with another PB and Jim Wright volunteered. Elsewhere, Tom Holland was in fine form at Albert - posting a speedy all-course PB and a first 70%+ age-grading. Tidy work Tom. Bethany Fleming did her 150th parkrun. Tim Clark and David Horton got 70%+ a-g's and Caroline Horton an 80%+. Katie Barlow did her 100th parkrun at Town Moor and Matty Clarkson his 200th at Redcar. A posse of pacers descended on the start line at Wynyard this week - the likes of which even Eliud Kipchoge would've been proud of. Their focus was birthday boy Alistair Plenderleith. His goal? - a first 70%+ age-grading. A fast start was followed by a solid run to the halfway point - and we sensed that something special could be on the cards with a strong finish. Alistair gave it absolutely everything. Did he do it? You bet! An all-course PB was bagged which was great. What's even better, a first 70%+ age-grading was achieved - meaning Alistair is now officially highly ranked in North East England for his age. Mission accomplished my friend. Excellent work!
