Morning Striders, here are tonight's sessions:   Sub 22, led by Jamie are doing  800m repeats. Meet @ Tees Barrage parkrun start at 6:25.  22-25, led by Liz are doing decreasing intervals.       25-27, led by Cat are doing 2 x 1000m, 2 x 800m, 2 x 400m, 2 x 200m, 2min jog recovery.       27-30, led by Angela are doing Indian file.       30-33, led by Suzanne are doing 8, 4, 2 min running (increasing pace).       33+, led by Anna are doing hills. Paul’s 29th Feb parkrun report

A big turnout of 62 Striders at the barrage on Saturday - many of whom were there to congratulate Gail Robinson. Gail completed a double milestone of 100 parkruns and 100 volunteering duties. Also instrumental in setting up the Billingham junior parkrun Gail has done everything from run directing to scanning tokens. I'm sure I speak for everyone at the club by saying a big thank you Gail for your tireless efforts in making the parkrun such a great event. We also saw Andy Johnston volunteer for the 25th time. The run itself resulted in new pb's for Kay Martin and Neil Mcgee. Kay Stokes pb'd with another amazing age grading of 85.59%. Robert Parker ran a first sub 21 minute time on his way to a pb. 36 Striders at the barrage - with 4 ladies grabbing the headlines. Louisa Houghton ran another sub 30 minute time to record a pb. Emma Fleming ran an all course parkrun best and a first sub 25 minute time. Chloe Turner was the final member of the pb club. Abbey Barker ran a quick time to come in as first female finisher. Nice work girls. Kris A, Julia C, Colin F, Keran H, Gareth M, Jane M, Stephen M, Nigel R, Gail R and Jim W helped with volunteering. Dave Fender failed his fitness test and didn't run. 46 Striders took a trip to the barrage on Saturday - and witnessed the popular Stevie Cooper celebrate his 200th parkrun. Jill Abel is a lady in form. A new pb was recorded and this was the second week in a row Jill has exceeded 70% in age-grading. This ranks her highly in the North East region. Neil Mcgee also got a new pb. Keran H, Andy J, Helen J, Jane M, David M, Viv M, Adam P and Jim W all helped with volunteering. Dave Fender failed his fitness test and didn't run.
