Paul’s weekend parkrun report
16 Striders at Sedgefield this week where Keran Hodgson reached 200 parkruns. Izzy Morgan was first lady to finish. Elsewhere, Michelle Ince was first lady to finish at Cotsford Fields. Kris Allen was third home. Caroline Horton and Stevie Cooper got 70%+ age-gradings at Albert. Holly Taylor pb'd at Durham as did Tony Gallilee at Northallerton. Striders too at Silksworth, Walsall, Stewart, Riverside, Hartlepool, Lanhydrock (Bodmin), Keswick, New Earswick (York), The Pastures and Edgbaston Reservoir. Paul J
Tuesday – summer pub run
Tuesday is our summer pub run. It’s approximately a 3 mile route starting and finishing at The Talpore. Meet outside the Talpore at 6:30. Don’t forget you can’t park in the Talpore bit of the car pack unless you’re a customer. It’s a social run suitable for all paces. I’ll be walking at the back and we’ll have a coach leading the group. There will be no sessions available at the club. Booking is via MagnaPass as usual on Monday evening.

It was yet another bright and warm day on Saturday. Andy Laverick reached the 250-run milestone and was joined by 25 other Striders at Stewart Park. Sandra Stabler got a new pb. Elsewhere, Holly Taylor's impressive recent form continued at Hartlepool. Holly recorded an all-course parkrun best and a first sub-22 time - also getting a third female finish. Nice work. Simon Russell and Steve Cotton got 70%+ age-gradings. At Albert - John Corvesor reached the 150-run milestone, Julia Ansbro pb'd and Stevie Cooper got a 70%+ a-g. Emily Palmer was first lady to finish at Woodhouse Moor (Leeds), also reaching 70%+. Jane Webb pb'd at Pontefract as did Gareth Maloney (70%+) at Penrose in Cornwall. Striders too at Prudhoe Riverside, Durham, Windy Nook, Sedgefield, Herrington Country, Woodgate Valley (Birmingham)…
