Parkruns 27th February 2016

22 Stockton Striders turned out at various parkruns this weekend – it may be more but I searched only by club name. Make sure that you are registered as a Strider to count in the four parkruns that are part of the club league.

The big turnout was at Tees Barrage with 13 runners and 3 volunteers. We were also represented at Stewart and Albert parks, Hartlepool, Sedgefield and Brockenhurst.

It was a PB day for Anna Curruthers, Samuel Johnston, Paul Johnson and David Fender at the Barrage.

David Holmes at Stewart, Andy Hayes at Albert and Craig Robinson at Hartlepool all also got in on the PB act.

The prize for tourist of the week goes to Ian Howse who tackled the mountainous Brockenhurst parkrun on the South coast – as it was his first time there, does that also count as a PB?

Murph.
