parkrun Striders

A quieter week at parkrun for Striders this week with nobody venturing too far from home.

We had a representative at Albert park, Sedgefield and Hartlepool where Don Telford had his first look at the course. Three more ran Stewart park with a first appearance for Gillian Borthwick.

I can only comment on the weather at Tees Barrage where it was a beautiful morning until the moment the run briefing started when we had a mixture of rain and hail which continued until the 1Km mark.

What it did demonstrate is that Adam Potter is clearly a fair weather runner as every time we get bad weather recently he cannot get to the café quick enough thus setting yet another PB! Joining Adam were Rachel Carr and David Holmes with new PBs.

There were 19 Striders running at Tees Barrage and a number of volunteers.
