We are expecting it to be very busy so please make sure you arrive in plenty of time for announcements etc. Tickets for our 5th Birthday Party and Presentation Night (31 January 2020) will be on sale from Tuesday onwards - £10 per person. Any donation of raffle/tombola prizes will be much appreciated. athlete of the year The Nomination forms for Athlete of the Year will also be available along with the box to post them in. Attached form in case you want to print your own and either e-mail it to the club or bring it along on club nights.

Club sessions recommence next Tuesday 7th January. Usual drill re volunteers for the Jan - March door rota. Please comment below if able to assist or populate the rota at club sessions. Many hands as they say......Thanks 😀 Andy J

Striders AC Male and Female of the Year 2019 Your fellow athletes need your votes!! As we come to the end of another running year, once again Striders AC are asking all of its members to vote for their male and female athlete of the Year. When considering your nominations, you may want to think about not only those who have had particular success in events, but others who you consider have made an outstanding personal achievement in their running or made a significant contribution to Stockton Striders AC or the wider running community. Whilst its still holiday time we've a few busy running days coming up :-) Tomorrow is the NYE social trail run along the Teesdale Way - meeting at Preston Park car park at 9:30am - if u want to bring some clean trainers and a few pennies I dare say we'll find a café open somewhere afterwards :-) New Years Day sees the opportunity to do 2 parkruns in one day - I know lots of Striders are planning this. Sunday socials anyone? 9 am prompt meet at Norton duck pond (clubhouse is closed). Plan is ‘about’ 10 miles heading through Norton along the A19 (path not road!) to the barrage. Lap of that then up through Portrack and back to Norton. Pace will be the usual average 9.15 ish per mile. All welcome. 🏃🏻‍♀️🏃🏻‍♂️ Andy J

Planning a Christmas Eve pre work (yes some of us are working tomorrow 😊) run in the morning approx 5 miles at a nice easy social pace (although doing a figure of 8 route so just a 5k is doable too) Meeting at Tees Barrage parkrun start area at 7:30am 🎄🎁😊👍🏻...oh & don’t forget your Santa hat 😉😉😉🎅🏻🎅🏻🎅🏻🎅🏻🎅🏻🎅🏻 thanks Helen
