Stockton Striders and Stockton Town FC Membership Renewals

Hi all   Membership renewal will be available between 1st- 31st October and will run for six months (until 31st March). Cost will be £10 as opposed to the usual £20 annual subscription. £5 will go Striders and £5 to Stockton Town Football Club.    All renewals should be made on line and payment made via bank transfer. Members wishing to renew who are unable to do so via bank transfer should email stocktonstriders@gmail.com and we will discuss individual arrangements with you.    We accept that with the current covid restrictions in place there is still a degree of uncertainty in terms of the level of official club activity moving forward. That said memberships did lapse on April 1st so we feel the reduced renewal rate is reasonable under the circumstances.…

22/24 September virtual sessions

Hi all,   Here are this weeks virtual sessions for those unable to attend on Tuesday or Thursday. Tuesdays sessions are now available to book on MagnaPass.   Tuesday: Mile repeats   Run 1 mile at a pace just faster than your 5km pace.   Follow with a 2 minute walking recovery.   Repeat this a further 2 or 3 times so you have ran a total of 3 or 4 miles.   You should aim to complete each mile at the same pace or slightly faster than the last if you can.   This is a good session for improving your 5km pace .   Thursday: Lamppost intervals   Find a path with equally distanced lampposts.   start from one lamppost and sprint to the next then Jog back…
