Here are tonight's sessions: Sub 22, led by Paul J are doing Mile repeats / Indian file relays. 22-25, led by David H and Caroline are doing 200m repeats. 25-27, led by Cat are doing Tempo: 1 mile easy, 2x12min, 0.5-1 mile easy. 27-30, led by Angela are doing Hill session 6 x 4 mins at half pipe 1:30 recovery . 30-33, led by Zoe are doing 3 x 8min, 4min, 2min intervals, getting faster. (Cycle path, using gates as markers). 33+, led by Suzanne are doing a 3 mile hilly run. Sessions going ahead are obviously dependent on today’s weather but we will keep you informed.

Morning Striders ? here are tonight's sessions: Sub 22, led by Sam and Tom are doing a speed and hills session at Tees Barrage. Please meet at the parkrun start at 6:30. 22-25, led by Liz are doing mile repeats with surprise ending. 25-27, led by Cat are doing Hills: 10x30secs hard. 27-30, led by Angela are doing changing pace run. 30-20-10 (30s easy 20s moderate 10s hard x 5, 2 min jog recovery after each 5 min set repeat x 3 sets.   30-33, led by Julia are doing Long hills 3x60sec 3x45s  3x30s with walking recovery. 33+, led by Dave E are doing 10x 30 seconds at ‘above’ 5k pace/90 seconds recovery Happy running ??‍♀️?‍♂️

Teesdale Way run update

Sunday seems the most popular for those that replied so we’ll go for 9am on Sunday from Preston Park main carpark. We’ll do a loop of the park, run down Yarm Road to Yarm, along the Teesdale Way to Eaglescliffe and back to the park. It’s approx 6 miles. Remember your trail shoes it’s really muddy! That gives everyone time to rest the legs before the first league race of next year on NYD at the double Albert and Stewart parkrun. ??‍♀️?‍♂️

Christmas runs

Training
There’ll be a couple of unofficial all-inclusive sessions over the Christmas holidays. Thursday 27th - Intervals in Ropner Park. Meet 9am at the bandstand. New Years Eve (can move to Sunday if that’s better for the majority of people) - Social run along the Teesdale way. Approx 7 miles. It’s really muddy and slippery so you’ll need trail shoes! Meeting time and location to follow. Will most likely be doing my own run on Wednesday too if anyone wants another social run.
