Just a reminder as per previous posts there are no club sessions on tonight due to the club (including coaches) participation at the NYMAC Relays at Stewart’s Park thank you

Bit of an early heads up but I’m celebrating my 300th parkrun & 100th (official) volunteering milestones this weekend at Stewart’s park and they’ll be cake to celebrate 🧁🧁 I’m still a couple of months off being ready to try & get back running (physio’s orders!) so will be parkwalking … but still so happy to be able to take part. Just try and leave some cake for me when I finish 🤪😊👍🏻💪🏻 Thanks Helen J

NYSD Track and Field 2024 The club have previously participated in the NYSD Track and Field season albeit in low numbers pre covid days however numbers overall at events have diminished drastically post covid leading to the majority of last years meetings being cancelled. League organisers are keen to promote it this season - Track and Field meetings are planned for: 18/06 – Darlington track 30/07 (TBC) – Middlesbrough sports village 20/08 – Darlington 10/09 – Middlesbrough and include a variety of track and field events. Field events include Hammer, discuss, Triple jump etc and runs include 100, 400m and 5K. The start time is usually around 6pm but be prepared for lots of hanging around on the night! EA Affiliation processing We’ve been advised by EA that due to the high volume of traffic, that affliations are unable to be processed at this time on the EA portal (the website keeps crashing!) therefore they are looking to improve their website. I’m sure you’ll appreciate our frustrations around this but unfortunately we’re reliant on EA and their systems and can only proceed once we receive the notification to do so. Thanks to Sue King for all of her patience today whilst trying to resolve our portal issues before the above info was shared with us.
