Due to numerous events/races taking place on May 27th + 28th, the league race 'Tees Barrage parkrun' has been moved from May 27th to Saturday June 17th, so more members have the opportunity to take part if they wish to do so. Thanks!

Just a quick reminder that the NYSD Track and Field is on tomorrow night at Darlington. Why not give it a go and surprise yourself! We use the policy of give it a go as they are all fun events and we have been given great feedback from everyone who has come along and gave it a go. Please aim to arrive at 6pm if possible. A message from the Chair & Vice Chair As part of our affiliation to England Athletics we provide a code of conduct for all club members. Given the influx of new members a reminder that a copy of this can be found on the club website under the 'Club Stuff' heading, Code of Conduct. If any members experience any issues that they feel breach the conduct our committee welfare officers can be contacted at ssacwelfare@gmail.com. Right after the success of last weeks Neptune Relays we find the next relay fast approaching!!! This time its the NYMAC Relays on Thursday 25 May 2017 at Stewarts Park. Each team consists of 4 people running 1 mile lap each. There's a list to add your name to available on club nights, but alternatively please add your name here or on the FB post .... Remember guys registration for the London Marathon ballot opens on Monday 01 May & closes 05 May. Information will then be sent by race organisers in October informing you as to whether you have been successful or not. As an affiliated running clubStockton Striders AC also qualifies for one place. In order to qualify to enter our club draw held at AGM you must: Be an affiliated athlete with Stockton Striders AC as your first claim club as of 01 May 2017 Have entered the ballot next week as a Stockton Strider AC athlete.
