York bus peeps as we now have 43 people on the bus tomorrow the return fare per person is £10 please - cash payment please as we need to give the balance of the invoice to the driver (I’ve paid £50 deposit from my own money!). The £10 will include the tip for the driver 👍🏻👍🏻 thanks Helen

This takes place on Sunday 24th October at Fox Rush Community Woodland, Redcar. Post code for sat navs is TS10 5PZ. See maps below for parking, race times and the XC running routes. Spikes or trail shoes recommended. Stockton Striders colours must be worn to take part. Our tent will be there along with our flag flying high; we are hoping for a good Striders turn out given the marathon events will be over with and we’ve heard this is a flat route 👍. On behalf of the Club the committee arranged for some flowers to be sent to Debbie Edwards as she continues her treatment for breast cancer. Debbie has asked us to thank everyone as below : What a lovely surprise albeit looking a bit scary in the photos 🤣 Thank you so much to our lovely SSAC 💚💚💚 family for the beautiful flowers and continued support throughout the last few months. Honestly will never be able to thank you all enough. Onwards and upwards with the positive news continuing 🤞

For those not on FB. Stockton Striders Naked Run - Good Evening Everyone, As you will know from previous posts - we are planning on a Halloween Barrage run which will be a naked run. As explained previously, this does not mean stripping off.. it means running without a watch! (Phew!) This will be taking place on Tuesday 26th October at 6.30pm instead of official club sessions. Whilst the distance will not be revealed yet, it will be between 2.5 - 3.5 miles. We will share more details about the route and start times etc, closer to the time. For those not familiar with a naked run, how it works is you submit your predicted finishing time and whoever is closest to their finishing time wins. Therefore, anyone can win!…

Message from Kris Allen for those not on FB Sundays Socials - 10th October Hi all, Lots of different races taking place over the weekend and I understand that many are also preparing for events over the next couple of weeks. For those taking part in races this weekend, good luck and run well 🏃🏻 So, with this in mind, I am going to plan a 10k for this Sunday from the club. Slightly shorter than normal but we can easily add a couple of miles if required. Usual 9 am start and pace between 9 and 9 and a half minute miles. All are welcome with no formal invite needed, but if you are planning to come down, please comment below so we don’t wonder off without anyone!
