Don't forget the club sessions return to normal this Tuesday 07 January 2020. We are expecting it to be very busy so please make sure you arrive in plenty of time for announcements etc. Tickets for our 5th Birthday Party and Presentation Night (31 January 2020) will be on sale from Tuesday onwards - £10 per person. Striders AC Male and Female of the Year 2019 Your fellow athletes need your votes!! As we come to the end of another running year, once again Striders AC are asking all of its members to vote for their male and female athlete of the Year. When considering your nominations, you may want to think about not only those who have had particular success in events, but others who you consider have made an outstanding personal achievement in their running or made a significant contribution to Stockton Striders AC or the wider running community. Whilst its still holiday time we've a few busy running days coming up :-) Tomorrow is the NYE social trail run along the Teesdale Way - meeting at Preston Park car park at 9:30am - if u want to bring some clean trainers and a few pennies I dare say we'll find a café open somewhere afterwards :-) New Years Day sees the opportunity to do 2 parkruns in one day - I know lots of Striders are planning this. Well done to Teams Santa, Reindeer & Snowman on what turned out to be very closely fought (with no dirty tricks whatsoever 🤣🤣) Christmas Cracker Relays & Sprout and Spoon Races 🎄🎉🎅🏻☃️🦌.... Instead of door subs the money raised tonight is being donated to The Moses Project a Local charity in Stockton who are providing lunch on Christmas Day for those less fortunate than ourselves. Don’t forget the club is now closed until Tuesday 07 January but details of any social or unofficial sessions people are arranging may be posted. The annual Striders Christmas Pub Run .... and a fantastic turnout with every single person donning some sort of Christmas attaire 🎅🏻🎄🎉☃️😀 Very well done to Judith Gill whose costume was voted best Christmas outfit & thank you to everyone who donated their subs (and more) we raised £52 as a donation to the local food bank Chloe-louise Turner
