Club Ballot London Marathon 2024 Early heads up gang as I understand London Marathon ballot results are due out from tomorrow. We are still awaiting confirmation but assume we will be allocated 1 place next years London Marathon 😊👍🏻 To qualify for the club ballot you need to have entered the general ballot and will need to confirm your no thank you magazine packet/letter serial number or no thank you email to stocktonstriders@gmail.com. In addition you must be a current EA affiliated member of Stockton Striders AC & have been an 2023/24 EA affiliated member as of 01/05/23. Stockton Striders AC must be your first claim club. It’s that time of year again … with GNR & York marathon & 10 mile training underway I’d best sort out the buses! GNR - bus usually leaves club around 7:30am and returns from South Shields about 4:00pm. Cost to be confirmed but usually around £12-£15 depending on numbers & size of bus! York - bus usually leaves club around 7:00am and returns from York about 4:00pm. Again cost to be confirmed but usually around £12-£15. At the minute I’m gaging interest so please comment below if interested specifying which one … or both 😊 thanks Helen J

Door cover for July through to September required. We need the next few weeks of July covering first & foremost. Please comment below if you can help out. For our newer members; we have two members ‘on the door’ every session. It’s a voluntary role, very easy to cover all we ask is at least one of you is in a car and we’ll explain the rest. We rely on members to pick up this role, without the cover we cannot hold the sessions. Coaches are exempt. There will also be a paper copy at the club. Thank you all. Gail  

As this years parkrunathon fast approaches thought I’d post a quick update. Expected timings for arrival at each event will follow in the next week …. We’re starting off with the 'bit' this year so will do that at Sedgefield then the other 8 will be : 1. Sedgefield 2. Wynyard Walkway 3. Cotsford Fields 4. Hartlepool 5. Albert 6. Stewart's 7. Tees Barrage 8. Ropner Park We know tees barrage is no more but it will always be associated as our home parkrun when the club formed and then Ropner Park is like our 2nd home and there is a run in the park there just not on a Saturday lol!
