A choice of 2 sessions tonight, both all inclusive and suitable for all paces: One will be a track session, 10,8,6,4,2 and 1 minute intervals with recovery in between each set lead by Caroline. The other one will be a hill session lead by Liz. Couch to parkrun will also be on tonight and that will be lead by Helen and Mary. Thanks all, if you're heading to Middlesbrough tonight for the track and field please remember to wear club colours, ideally your vest and try to arrive at least 30 minutes before the events you want to take part in start. Thursday 6th July Training Sessions

Training
We have 3 sessions on offer tonight, The 25-27 group will be doing a strength session with Cat. There will be a speed session on the track, 16 x 200m alternating between 5 and 10km pace with recovery in between each one. This is suitable for all abilities - how fast you run/recovery time all depends on your own individual times. The final session on offer will be an interval session on the cycle path, again suitable for all abilities. Thanks all 🏃

(27-30) which will be lead by Caroline are doing 5 minute medleys in ropner park. (30-33) which will be lead by Lucy are doing a mile repeat session. (30-33 + 33+) which will be lead by Heather are doing an interval session which will include some drill + technique work. Here are tonight's sessions: (Sub 22 + 22-25) which will be lead by Sam are doing mile repeats in ropner park. All mile repeats should ideally be under 8 minute miles for the 22-25 group, and they should all be under 7 minute miles for the sub 22 group. (25-27 + 27-30) which will be lead by Cat + Angela are doing a strength session on the track. (30-33) which will be lead by Fiona are doing a 4.5-5 mile run. (33+) which will be lead by Ian are doing a parlauf relay session. The couch to parkrun group will be completing week 3 of their programme tonight, it will be lead Helen and Mary. Thanks all 🏃

Here are tonight's sessions: (Sub 22 + 22-25 + 27-30) which will be lead by Sam are doing paired 400m repeats on the track. (25-27) which will be lead by Cat are doing 90 second intervals on the cycle path. (30-33 + 33+) which will be lead by Fiona are doing an interval session on the cycle path. (25-27) which will be lead by Cat are doing a hunt the hills session. (30-33) which will be lead by Fiona are doing a 4 mile run with loopbacks. (33+) which will be lead by Ian are doing parlauf relays. There are 2 sessions to choose from tonight, The first one will be lead by Fiona and it will be a mass track session which is suitable for all abilities. (This is a session we haven't done before - Fiona will explain it in detail this evening) The second one will be lead by Steve who is doing a 5 mile social run. The pace for this social run will be 9.30-10 minute mile pace. If you want to take part in this session it's important you stick to that pace and don't go faster/slower than it. Thanks all 🏃

(25-27 + 27-30) which will be lead by Angela and Steve are doing 400m repeats on the track. (30-33 + 33+) which will be lead by Fiona are doing a hills session at cowpen bewley country park. Suitable for all abilities. Those of you going if you can meet in the cowpen car park for 6.30pm please. There will be no alternative session on at the club this evening for these two groups. Thursday 8th June Club Time Trial

Don't forget it's the club time trial tonight at ropner park - no money required. There are no sessions on at the club this evening. If everyone could get to the bandstand for 6.30pm please. Results will be posted in this group and on the website shortly after. A reminder that I will be at the club at 6.05pm this evening and a couple of us are running down to the park beforehand and then running back afterwards. The pace of this will be 9-9.30 minute miles, and we'll be setting off from the club at 6.10pm(ish!) Thanks all and good luck ! 🏃
