parkrun Striders

Home / Run reports / parkrun Striders

Seven Striders, including a couple of hardy athletes fresh from London Marathon, toed the line at Albert park with Caroline Horton knocking out another 78%+ age graded score. We also had one representative at Stewart park.

Craig Robinson travelled over to Riverside parkrun and was rewarded with a new PB. Others also travelled to Hartlepool and Fountains Abbey.

13 Striders got in some practice for Mondays 10k with a run at Tees Barrage. Rachel Carr (again!) and Alison Stobbs both clocked new PBs.

The simple way to look for Striders in the results is to filter the club name rather than look for actual names – if I have missed you out please check that you appear in the results as a Strider. An easy way to do this is to go to the bottom of your result email, use the ‘manage my profile’ link and on the Links page use the ‘Update’ link to see your profile page – you can select or change your club here.

It’s always good to appreciate the efforts of volunteers without whom parkruns, or indeed the club, could not function – they are difficult to pick out in the results but I spotted a few at Tees Barrage and there was at least one other at Hartlepool. Thanks to all.

For those doing the Tees Barrage 10k on Monday, there will be a big gang of Striders out there marshalling around the course – give them at shout-out as you go past.
